For over fifteen years, I’ve worked in mental health peer support, managing both non-profit and social enterprise organizations, and providing direct services. I’ve developed several innovative mental health programs and led hundreds of multi-day trainings around the world. I’ve also spoken extensively at conferences, to legislatures, media, universities, and human services agencies. My deep passion for this work stems from my lived experience of mental health struggles and from using services, so I am enlivened collaborating with people and organizations eager to embrace principles of trauma-informed recovery and social change.
